Section 40: Transaction in property of a private school

The Tamil Nadu Private Schools (Regulation) Rules, 2023.State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 2019

(1) No immovable property of a private school shall be transferred without obtaining prior permission of the competent authority which has granted the certificate of recognition.

(2) Movable properties shall be sold only through public auction preceded by wide publicity. Records of such public auction shall be duly maintained and submitted for inspection, whenever required. The sale proceeds shall be duly credited into the school accounts.
