Section 6: Grant of permission

The Tamil Nadu Private Schools (Regulation) Rules, 2023.State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 2019

On receipt of an application under rule 5, the competent authority shall, on verification of the particulars and the documents furnished, pass an order either granting or refusing to grant permission, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the application:

Provided that no order refusing to grant permission shall be passed unless the applicant has been given an opportunity of making a representation.
