No. II(2)/EF/9/2011.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 26-A of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 (Central Act 53 of 1972), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby declares that the area, the boundaries of which are specified in the Schedule below, shall be a Sanctuary on and from 1st December 2010.

No.II(2)/EF/10/2011.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 18 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 (Central Act 53 of 1972), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby declares the intention of the Government of Tamil Nadu to constitute the area, the boundaries of which are specified in the Schedule below which is considered by the Government of Tami Nadu to be of adequate ecological, faunal, floral, gemorphological, natural and zoological significance for the purpose of protecting, propagating and developing Wildlife and its environment, to be a Sanctuary.
