Section 9: Advance of traveling allowance and daily allowance

Tamil Nadu State Election Commissioner (Conditions of Service) Rules, 1994State Rules of Tamil Nadu · 1994

(1) The Commissioner shall be entitled to an advance of traveling and daily allowance in respect of journeys undertaken by him in the performance of his functions, whether by road, rail or air.

(2) An advance drawn shall be adjusted in the appropriate travelling allowance bill as per the Rule under Article 54 of the Tamil Nadu Financial Code, Volume 1.
