Section 50: Repeal and saving

The Tamil University Act, 1982State Act of Tamil Nadu · Act 9 of 1982

(1) The Tamil University ordinance. 1981 (Tamil Nadu Ordinance 10 of 1981) is hereby repealed.

(2) Notwithstanding such repeal anything done or action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act.

1. The Tamil University Ordinance 1981 (Tamil Nadu Ordinance 10 of 1981) promulgated by the Governor on the 1st August

1984.

2. Die Tamil University (Amendment) Act, 1986 (Tamil Nadu Act 22 of 1986) assented to by the Governor on 19th February 1986.
