Section 3: Document Writers Welfare Fund.

(1) The Government shall, by notification, constitute a fund to becalled as the Tamil Nadu Document Writers Welfare Fund. (2) The following shall be credited to the fund, (a) all sums collected from document writers for admission as a member of the fund under section 19; (b) all amounts collected at a rate not exceeding fifty rupees, as may be prescribed, per document presented in any of the office of the Sub-Registrar for registration under the Registration Act, 1908: Provided that this clause shall not apply to any document presented for registration on behalf of the Central Government or the State Government or Local Authority as defined in clause (11) of section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Local Authorities Entertainments Tax Act, 2017.
