On the date fixed for hearing or any other date to which the hearing may be adjourned, the party shall, ordinarily, be heard first in part of his appeal or claim, as the case may be. The respondent or the authorised representative shall, if necessary, be heard next and in such case the party shall be entitled to reply as provided in the Code of Civil Procedure 1908 (Central Act V of 1908).
