The Board, established by the Government under sub section (1) of Section 8 of the Act, can acquire property as per the resolutions passed in the Board, if it is necessary or benefi cial to the Board and also consistent with the objects for which the Board and the consideration for the transaction of the property is reasonable and adequate, subject to the availability of fund with the Board. On the same conditions and restrictions and on the resolutions passed in the Board, it can transfer property for a fair and reasonable value without causing loss to the Board.
