Section 2: Applicability

Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board Employees(Discipline and Appeal) Regulation 1972State Regulations of Tamil Nadu · 1971

Subject to such exceptions as the Board may, from time to time, make in respect of specified cases or in respect of specified classes of employees, these regulations shall apply to all the employees of the Board including the employees of the Government of Tamil Nadu who have opted for service under the Board:

Provided that nothing in these regulations shall deprive any employee of any right or privilege to which he is entitled to by or under any law for the time being in force.

Provided further that in the case of employees appointed on contract, they shall, except in so far as they are not governed by the terms of contract, be regulated by the provisions of these regulations.
