Section 41: Penalty for contravention of order relating to control of price and distribution.

(1) If any person contravenes any order made under sub-section (1) or sub-section (3) of section 30, he shall be [liable to penalty which may extend to fifty thousand rupees] and the property in respect of which the order has been contravened or such part thereof as to the Court may seem fit shall be forfeited to the Central Government.

(2) Any person who attempts to contravene or abets the contravention of, any order under sub-section (1) or sub-section (3) of section 30 shall be deemed to have contravened that order.
