(1) In rule 2, after clause (ill), the following clause shall be inserted, namely :— •'(ili-tO 'Deputy Chairman' means The Deputy Chair man of the Board";

(2) for rule 18, the following rule shall be substituted, namely :—
(1) The Board shall not delegate nny administrative powers to any Committee other than the Executive Committee or the Export Promotion Committee.
(2) The Board shall not delegate any of the following powers to any of the Standing Committees :— fa) the power to sanction expenditure in excess of Rs. 2 lakhs In respect of any one item;
(b) the power to adopt budget estimates of the Board on its behalf;
(c) the power to sanction expenditure to be incurred outside India in excess of Rs. 50,000 in respect of any one item;
(d) the power to re-appropriete the estimated savings in excess of Rs. 5,000 in respect of any one item;
(e) the power to writeoff losses In excess cf Rs. 2,500 to respect of any one Item;
