Section 5: Term of Office

The Tea Rules, 1954Central Rules · 1953

(1) A member of the Board shall hold office for a period of three years from the date of his appointment.

(2) A person appointed to fill a casual vacancy under sub-rule (3) of rule 4 shall hold office so long as the member whose place he fills would have been entitled1 to hold office, if the vacancy had not occurred.
