Section 60

The Telangana Children Act, 1979.State Act of Telangana · Act 26 of 1979

(1) Whoever employs or uses any child for the purposes of begging or causes any child to beg shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine or with both.

(2) Whoever, having the actual charge of, or control over, a child, abets the commission of the offence punishable under sub-section (1), shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine, or with both.

61. All offences under this chapter shall be cognizable.
