(1) The Government may, from time to time, direct that any road, bridge, channel, building or other property, movable or immovable, which is vested in the Government and which is situated within a district, shall, with the consent of the Board of such district, and subject to such exemptions and conditions as the Government, may make and impose, be placed under the control and administration of the Board for the purposes of this Act, and thereupon such road, bridge, channel, building or other property shall be under the control and administration of the Board, subject to all the exceptions and conditions so made and imposed and to all charges and liabilities affecting the same.

(2) The Government may, from time to time, by notification in the Official Gazette, resume any property placed under the control of the Board under sub-section (1), on such terms as the Government may determine with the consent of the Board.

67. When any land is required whether within or without the area subject to the jurisdiction of a Board, for the purposes of this Act, the Government may on the request of the Board proceed to acquire it under the provisions of the Hyderabad Land Acquisition Act, 1309 F., and on payment by the Board of the compensation awarded under that Act, and of any other charges incurred by the Government in connection with the acquisition, the land shall vest in the Board. Such acquisition shall be deemed to be acquisition for a public purpose within the meaning of the said Act.
