(1) Where any land has been acquired under section 3, the Government may transfer the land to the Housing Board constituted under section 3 of the 3[Telangana Housing Board Act, 1956 (Act XLVI of 1956], for the purpose of

3. The Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Housing Board Act, 1956 as extended to whole State of A.P by Act 15 of 1962 has been adapted as the Telangana Housing Board Act, 1956, vide. the Telangana Adaptation of Laws Order, 2016 issued in G.O.Ms.No.45, dated 01.06.2016.

Transfer of land to Housing Board.

[Act No.XXXIX of 1961] 3 executing housing schemes framed under that Act; and thereupon the land shall vest in such Board.

(2) Where land is transferred under sub-section (1) to the Housing Board aforesaid, the Housing Board shall be liable to pay the cost of acquisition of the land.

5. Every person whose right, title or interest in any land is acquired under this Act shall be entitled to receive and be paid compensation as hereinafter provided.

6. The amount payable as compensation shall be as specified in column (4) of the Schedule against the land specified in columns (1) to (3) thereof.
