(1) On receipt of the Plans under section 13, the Government shall consult the metropolitan planning committee and immediately sanction the said plans with or without modifications or reject the plan with directions to modify or prepare fresh plans.
(2) The sanction accorded by the Government shall be notified in the 16Telangana Gazette and the plans shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Gazette.
(3) The Metropolitan-Commissioner shall take necessary action as may be necessary to ensure that each development project or scheme is executed in the interest of overall development of the development area and in accordance with any plan, project or scheme duly approved either by the Metropolitan Development Authority or under any law in force or by the Government.
