Section 8: Penalty for contravention of section 6.

The Telangana Indebted Agriculturists, Landless Labourers and Artisans (Temporary Relief) Act, 1976.State Act of Telangana · Act 24 of 1976

(1) Any pawn broker or money lender who contravenes the provisions of section 6 shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupee, or with both.

(2) An offence punishable under this section shall be cognizable.
