Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement.

The Telangana Irrigation (Construction and Maintenance of Water Courses) Act, 1965.State Act of Telangana · Act 12 of 1965

(1) This Act may be called the Telangana Irrigation (Construction and Maintenance of Water Courses) Act, 1965.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Telangana.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Telangana Gazette, appoint.
