(1) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall lie against any person for anything which is in good faith, done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any rule or order made thereunder.
(2) No suit or other legal proceedings shall lie against the Government or the Board for any damage caused, or likely to be caused by anything which is, in good faith, done Members of Board Welfare Commissioner, Inspectors and all officers and servants of Board to be public servants.

36. The Government may, by notification, exempt any establishment or class of establishments from all or any of the provisions of this Act subject to such conditions as may be specified in the notification.
