Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement.

The Telangana Payment of Taxes (Transfer of Property) Act, 1951.State Act of Telangana · Act 21 of 1951

(1) This Act may be called [the Telangana Payment of Taxes (Transfer of Property) Act, 1951].

(2) It extends to the whole of [the State of Telangana].

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may by notification in the [Official Gazette] appoint in this behalf.
