The Telangana Prevention of Disfigurement of Open Places and Prohibition of Obscene and Objectionable Posters and Advertisements Act, 1997.State Act of Telangana · Act 28 of 1997

(1) The Government may for the purposes of removing any difficulty, by order published in the 4Telangana Gazette, direct that the provisions of this Act shall, during such period as may be specified in the order, have effect subject to such adaptations whether by way of modification, addition or omission as they may deem necessary or expedient:

Provided that no such order shall be made after two years from the commencement of this Act.

Protection of action taken in good faith.

Burden of proof in certain cases.

Power to issue directions.

Act to override other laws.

Power to remove difficulties.

10 [Act No.28 of 1997]

(2) Every order made under sub-section (1) shall be laid before the Legislature of the State.

(3) No order under sub-section (1) shall be called in question in any court on the ground that no difficulty as is referred to in sub-section (1) existed or was required to be removed.
