(1) Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette and subject to the condition of previous publication, make rules for thc purpose of giving effect to the provisions of this Act.
(2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:-
(a) fixing the sum to be paid towards the cost of an inscription under sub-scction (2) of section 6;
(b) fixing the maximum load in case the conveyance is licensed to carry goods;

(c) generally for the regulation of public conveyance;
(d) any matter which is to be or may be prescribed.
(3) Rules made under this section may provide that a contravention thereof shall be punishable with fine which may extend to thirty rupees.
