Section 12: Collector to decide amount to be paid by landholder.

The Telangana Railways, Government Irrigation Sources and other Public Buildings Protection Act, 1321 Fasli.State Act of Telangana

If the [XXX] landholder or their attorney, agent or secretary, shows cause before the [Collector] under section 11, the [Collector] shall after such inquiry as he may deem fit, decide the amount to be paid by the [XXX] landholder and shall cause a notice to be served upon him requiring him to pay the amount within the period fixed in the notice.
