Section 24: Institution of proceedings.

The Telangana Sugarcane (Regulation of Supply and Purchase) Act, 1961.State Act of Telangana · Act 45 of 1961

(1) No court shall take cognizance of an offence punishable under this Act or any rule or order made thereunder except upon a complaint in writing made by the Cane Commissioner or any authority or officer authorised by him in this behalf.

(2) No court inferior to the court of a magistrate of the first class shall take cognizance of, or try, an offence under this Act or any rule or order made thereunder.
