Section 1: Short title and commencement

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Annual Report and Returns) Rules, 1999Central Rules · 1997

These rules may be called the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Annual Report and Returns) Rules, 1999.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Definitions: In these rule unless the context otherwise requires –

(a) “Act” means the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India Act, 1997 (24 of 1997);

(b) “Appendix” means an Appendix annexed to these rules.

(c) Words and expressions used in these rules but not defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
