Section 8: Standing or ad hoc Committee.

The Textiles Committee Act, 1963Central Act · Act 41 of 1963

(1) The Committee may constitute Standing Committees or ad hoc Committees for exercising any power or discharging any duty of the Committee or for inquiring into or reporting and advising on any matter which the Committee may refer to them.

[(2) A Standing Committee or an ad hoc Committee constituted under sub-section (1) may include persons who are not members of the Committee, but their number shall not exceed one half of its strength.]
