Section 2: Definitions

These Rules may be called the Goa, Daman and Diu Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Rules, 1969State Rules of Goa · 1969

In these Rules, unless there is anything repugnan t to the subject or context,—

(a) “Act” means the Goa, Daman and Diu Buildings (L ease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1968.

(b) “Form” means a form appended to these Rules.

(d) Words and expressions used, but not defined in these rules shall have the meaning assigned to them in the Act.
