GOVERNMENT OF TRIPURA EDUcATtON (SCHOOL) DEPARTMENT No.F.15(15-1)-SE/GlA/2016/Part-l/1691 Dated, Agartala, the 30th November, 2022 NOTIFICATION ln exercise of its general porver, the State Government hereby makes the following *rles to amend the Grant-in-Aid (covernment Aided Schools) Rules, 2005:-
1. Short title application and commencement:
(i) 1-hese rules may be called the fripura Grant-in-Aid (Covernment Aided Schools) l t( Amendment Rules, 2022 .r,i-:.

(a) (iv) Has maintained all records according to the instructions and also deposited the GpF contribution of staff in the Tripura State Co-operative Bank Ltd./ Tripura Gramin Bank/any other Nationalized Bank in time as ihe case may be.
(b) (vi) For settling all claims under TA, LTC, HTC, Medical reimbursement bills, prior sanction of the Director of Secondary Education will be required;
5. Amendment of Rule 5:- Clause (i) and (ii) of Rule 5 shall be substituted rvith the follorving and clause (iii) and (vi) shall be deieted:

(a) Appointmenl to the post of Head s shall be made on promotion fronr the post of Assistant Headmaster/ Assi having at least one year experience as Assistant Headmaster/ Assistant H through the duly Constituted Deparlmental Promotion Committee (DPC). 9.Amendmenl of Rulc 9:- clause (ii) and (a) of Rule 9 shall be substituted with the fbllowing :-
(ii) CCS(CCA) conduct rules rvill be applicable to ail the teaching and non-reaching sraff of Crant-in-Aided Schools as and when adopted /notified for Teacheis of Govt. Schools with the follorving exemptions :-
(a) Suspension of an emnlovee:- The Secretary. Managing Cornmittee/ Administrator shall have the power to suspend ,dies- non, to held -up the salary for unauthorized absenc,e and criminal off n"., frauduient dralal and misappropriation of Grant-in-Aid released by the State Government subject to the prior approval of Director of Secondary Education. The Director of Secondary Education shall have the porver to issue direction to tlre Managing Cqmmittee to suspend ,dies- non, to held_up the salary for unauthorized absence and criminal offgg.oS, frauduleni drawal and misappropriaiion of Crant-in- Aid released by the State Govt. & such"directi,on shaiibe binding on the'Managing Committee.
10. Amendment of Rule 10:- 'l'he follorving Ciause shall ,be in of Grant-in-Aided Schools. 13. Nerv Clauses to be incorporated in ,'-. :t.
(i) In case anv Grant-in-Aided Schools forndiinon-func.tional (Non- feasible due to very poor enrolntent) . the said school may be taken up/ rnerged/close down by the Covernment and the teaching and non-teaching staff of that school may be adjusted rvith nearest CIA school as per requirement by the Director of Secondary Education.
ii) Exising excess- teaching and non teaching stafl of GIA School may be redeployed ro the nearesr GIA School rvith shorta-tre of staff as a onetirne measrrre according to the needs of different Grant-in-aid schools of the state by the Director of secondary Education.

iii) In case any in sen'ice teaching and non teaching ernployee comes from another GIA schoolby redeployment, his/irer senioritl, rvill be determined in the seniority list rvith effect fi.om the date of his/her joining in sen,ic.e in the first joining school.
iv) lf there is no eligible candidule (teacherJ available for appointment to ih,e,post of Hh4/AHM in a particular CIA Schbol,' as per ,.vritten requirement of the managing committee, the Director. of Secondary Education may depute HI\,{/AHI\,t from Govt. school to that school till such eligible . candidate is found.
v) Every neu, recruitr:rent to the post of teaching and non-teaching staff in Grant-in-Aided schools shall be borne in the School Education Cadre, An administrative review shalt be done in every five years by Director of Secondary Education and the excess teaching / non-teaching staff may be redeployed to other nearest Cie S,L.tiool based .oii the need analysis supported by wriuen requisition of Vlanaging Con:mitree of s-hortage schools.
