Section 36: Prohibition of use of Building without occupancy certificate

No person shall occupy or permit to be occupied a building erected or reerected or altered under the Act in respect of which an occupancy certificate or a partial occupancy certificate under these rules has not been issued by the ULB.

37. Work subsequent to issue of occupancy certificate,- If any re—erection or addition or alteration of a building in respect of which an occupancy certificate has been issued is intended, a fresh notice under the Act or these rules, as the case may be, shall be necessary.
