Section 74: Information and aid to Excise Officer

The Tripura Excise Act, 1987State Act of Tripura · Act 12 of 1987

(1) Every Officer of the Police, Excise, Customs and Revenue Departments, shall be bound, subject to any rules made under section 88, to give immediate information to an Excise officer of all breaches of any of the provisions of this Act which may come to his knowledge.

(2) Every Officer referred to in sub-section (1) and every village chowkider, shall be bound, subject to any rules made under Section 88 to give reasonable aid to any Excise officer in carrying out the provisions of this Act, or of any rule, notification or order made, issued or given under this Act, upon request made by such officer.
