Section 2: Definitions

The Tripura Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Rules, 2011State Rules of Tripura · 2010

(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,-

(a) 'Act' means the Legal Metrology Act, 2009;

(b) 'Controller' means the Controller of Legal Metrology;

(e) 'Reference Standards Laboratory' means a laboratory set up by the Central Government under the Act, where Reference Standards, Secondary . Standards and Working Standards are maintained;

(d) 'Schedule' means a schedule appended to these rules;

(e) 'State Government' means the Government of the State of Tripura.

(2) All other words and expressions used and not defined herein but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
