(1) No commodity or article or animal or bird shall be sold or Prohibition of exposed for sale by a hawker or squatter in any place in the Municipal Area business or except within the confines of any Municipal market or licensed private trade market without the permission of the Municipality. (2) Any person contravening the provisions of sub-section (1) and any commodity or article or animal or bird exposed for sale by such person may be simmarily removed by or under the order of the Municipality.
