Tripura Panchayat Act,1993.State Act of Tripura · Act 7 of 1993

(1) A Prandhan or a Upa-Pradhan or a member of a Gram Panchayat may resign his office by writing under his hand addressed to the prescribed authority and on such resignation being accepted by such authority the Pradhan, the Upa-Pradhan, or the member, as the case may be, shall be deemed to have vacated his office.

(2) When a resignation is accepted under sub-section (1) the prescribed authority shall communicate it to the members of the Gram Panchayat within fifteen days of such acceptance.
