Section 24

The Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council Act, 1979State Act of Tripura · Act 12 of 1979

(1) Subject to the provisions of this Act and Rules made thereunder the superintendence, direction and control of the preparation of the .electoral rolls for, and the conduct of election to the District Council shall vest in the Chief Electoral Officer appointed under the Representation of People. Act, 1050.

(2) Subject to the provisions of sub-eectiee (1).

the Chief Electoral Officer may make such orders as may be necessary for the purposes mentioned in subsection (1).
