Section 6: Method of Recruitment

UIDAI (Appointment of Officers and Employees) Regulations,2020Central Regulations · 2016

(1) After initial formation of the cadre, if any vacancy arises in any of the grades specified in the Schedule or if any new post is created in any of the grade, the same shall be filled up in the manner specified in the Schedule.

(2) Selection in each case under clause (1) of this regulation shall be on the recommendations of the Selection Committee as specified in the Schedule.

(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in these regulations, the Appointing Authority may, from time to time prescribe:-

(a) eligibility criteria in addition to the criteria specified in the Schedule hereto for selection of candidates for filling up the vacancies through different methods; and

(b) procedure for appointment and promotion unless otherwise provided in these regulations.
