Aadhaar authentication shall be used on voluntary basis, for establishing Unique Health Identifier for identification and authentication of beneficiaries in various Health IT applications under Aadhaar Authentication for Good Governance (Social Welfare, Innovation, Knowledge) Rules, 2020 read with subclause(ii) of clause (b) of sub-section (4) of section 4 of the Aadhaar Act, 2016.
