Section 8: Accrual and payment of pay and allowances

The Unique Identification Authority of India (Salary, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Employees) Regulations, 2020Central Regulations · 2016

Subject to the provisions of these regulations, pay and allowances shall accrue from the commencement of the service of an employee and shall become payable in the afternoon of the last working day of each month in respect of the service performed during the said month:

Provided that an employee proceeding on leave other than extraordinary leave for a period not less than one month may be paid in advance, one month's pay and allowances if he applies therefor.
