Section 2: Definition

The University of Rajasthan (Amending and Validating) Act, 1964State Act of Rajasthan · Act 10 of 1964

In this Act, unless the subject or context otherwise requires,-

(i) "amending act" means the University of Rajasthan (Amendment) Act, 1962;

(ii) (ii) "Deans" in relation to the members of the reconstituted Syndicate, means the Deans of the Faculties of Arts, Science and Medicine respectively;

(iii) (iii) "Principal Act" means the University of Rajasthan Act, 1946, as amended by the Amending Act;

(iv) (iv) "Re-constituted authorities" means the State and Syndicate of the University of Rajasthan, as first re-constituted after the commencement of the amending Act;

(v) (v) "Removal of difficulties order" means the University of Rajasthan (Removal of Difficulties) (First) Order, 1962, dated 28th day of November, 1962.
