If any person erects, re-erects, adds to, or alters any building in contravention of the provisions of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 23, sub-section (3) of Section 24 or Section 35, he shall be punishable with fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees, and, in case of continuing breach, with further fine which may extend to five hundred rupees for each day during which the breach continues after the first conviction.
