Section 2: Definitions

In these rules, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,-

(i) "Act" means the Uttar Pradesh Bhoodan Yagna Act, (Act No. X of 1953).

(ii) "Committee" means the Bhoodan Yagna Committee for Uttar Pradesh, established, under section 3 of the Act, and includes the Committee reconstituted under section 5 (1) (ii) of the Act;

(iii) "Section" means a section of the Act.
