Notwithstanding anything contained in the, U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1950, U.P. Tenancy Act, 1939, or any other law relating to land tenure as may be applicable, an owner shall be competent for purposes of this Act to donate the land held by him as such to the Bhoodan Yagna.
