Section 15: Taking possession of land

The Uttar Pradesh Bhoomi Evam Jal Sanrakshan Adhiniyam, 1963State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 16 of 1963

The Bhoomi Sanrakshan Adhikari or any other officer authorized by him in this behalf shall in pursuance of the order under section 14 take temporary possession of the land :

Provided that possession shall not be taken without notifying in the prescribed manner the date and intention of taking possession at least fifteen days prior to such date.
