Section 16: -Powers and duties of the Registrar.

The Uttar Pradesh Board of Madarsa Education Act, 2004State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 29 of 2004

(1) The Registrar of the Board shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Board and shall, subject to the superintendence, control and directions of the Board, be responsible for the execution of its decisions. He shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed by regulations, and in particulars-

(a) be responsible to prepare and present the annual estimates and statement of accounts;

(b) be responsible to ensure that all moneys are spent for the purpose for which they are granted or allotted;

(c) be responsible for keeping the minutes of the meeting of the Board;

(d) shall exercise such powers as are necessary for the conduct of the examinations; and

(e) shall exercise such other powers as may be prescribed by the regulations.
