Dated Lucknow:, February 28, 2025 WHEREAS, as per the present system in force for granting recognition to the Institutions seeking new recognition by Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Sanskrit Education, Lucknow, it is mandatory for the ownership of the land to be in the name of the society/trust/school; AND, WHEREAS, in the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council, Prayagraj and CBSE ctc. Education Boards, there is a provision for also granting recognition to institutions (society/trust/school) holding land on a registered lease deed of 30 years; AND, WHEREAS, in view of the above, for the purpose of increasing the number of Sanskrit schools, it is necessary to amend the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Sanskrit Education (Constitution, Powers and Dutics of the Committees und Sub-Committees) Regulations, 2012 for granting recognitior to Institutions on a registered lease deed of 30 years also; Now, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under section 21 of the Uttar Pradesh Board of Sccondary Sanskrit Education Act, 2000 (U.P. Act no. 32 of 2000) read with Section 21 of the Uttar Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1904 (U.P. 2. In the Uttar Pradesh Board of Sccondary Sanskrit Education (Constitution, ) Regulations, 2012, for the existing Regulation 9.06 sct out in Column-I below, the regulation as sct out in Column-1I shall be substituted, namely:- COLUMN-I (Existing regulation)

09.06 For the recognition, following ~ description in the Application Form shall be given in details:-

(a) Is there a genuine need of the Institution in that Area?

(b) The bye-laws of the Committee of management, if any.

(c) The names of Manager and Sccretary of the institution or the name of the person empowered for correspondence.

(d) The qualifications and pay scales of the teachers. (¢) Armangement of the place for classes and hostel.

(f) Financial conditions of the Institution with sources of income.

(2) Number of students in every class.

(h) Is there a criterion for the entry of poor students and amount of fee charged.

(i) Provision for decoration, furniture and adequate library.

(j) Amangement for health, entertainment, discipline and playground for students.

(k) Name of examination or examinations for which recognition to be desired.

(1) Availability of land, building for Institution and arrangement of place for classes along with attested photocopies of Registry (Bainama/ Danpatra) of the land/building/ playground showing that the 550 RPH 2025 (folder shiksha) data le CoLuMn-1I (Regulation as hereby substituted)

09.06 For recognition, the following description shall be given in the Application Form in details:-

(a) is there a genuine need of the Institution in that Arca;

(b) bye-laws of the Committee of management, if any;

(c) names of the Manager and Secretary of the Institution or the name of the person empowered for correspondence;

(d) qualifications and pay scales of the teachers; (€) armrangement of the place for classes and hostel;

(f) financial condition of the Institution with sources of income;

(g) number of students in every class;

(h) is there a criterion for the entry of poor students and amount of fee charged;

(i) provision of decoration, furniture and adequate library; () amrangement for health, entertainment, discipline and playground for students;

(k) name of the examination or examinations for which recognition is desired;

(1) availability of land, building for Institution and arrangement of place for classes along with attested photocopies df Registry (Bainama/Danpatra) of the land/ building/playground showing that the T, VR IR TTOIE, 28 HRAN, 2025 COLUMN-1 (Existing regulation) land/building/playground are owned by the socicty or trust and Khatauni attested by revenue officer should be attached compulsorily.

(m) Construction of the school building should be made according to the security standard prescribed in the National Building Code.

(n) Arangement of fire extinguisher equipment should be made in the school according to need. A certificate of competent authority should be attached. (Regulation as hereby substituted) land/building/playground arc owned by the society or trust and Khatauni attested by revenue officer should be attached compulsorily; ’ Recognition may also be given to schools on a registered lease deed for a perod of 30 years:

Provided that the registered lease deed shall be in the name of the socicty/trust/school. The lease deed shall be only for operating/running the school and it shall not be used for any other work. Before the lease deed expires, the Institution/management shall get it renewed again for a fixed period. In case of expiry of the lease deed, the recognition of the Institution shall automatically end.

(m) whether the construction of the school building has been done in accordance with the security standards prescribed in the National Building Code of India (NBC);

(n) whether proper arrangement of fire cxtinguisher equipment has beemmade in the school according to neced. A certificate of competent authority must be attached.
