Section 7: Power to co-opt

The Uttar Pradesh Braj (Teerth Vikash Parishad) Act, 2015State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 5 of 2015

7. (1) The [Parishad or the Samiti]1 may, at any time and for such period as it thinks fit, co-opt any person or person as a member or members of the [Parishad or the Samiti]1.

(2) A person co-opted under sub-section (1) shall exercise and discharge all the powers and functions of a member of the [Parishad] or of the Samiti, as the case may be, but shall not be entitled to vote.
