Section 261: Removal from Membership

Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996State Rules of Uttar Pradesh · 2020

The State Government may remove from office any member of the Board, if in its opinion such a member has acted contrary to the provisions of these rules or has incurred any of disqualifi-cation in Rule 6 ceased to represent the interest, which he purports to represent on the Board:

Provided that no such member shall be removed unless a reasonable oppor-tunity is given to him of making any representation against the proposed action.
