Section 23: Power to make rules

Uttar Pradesh Cantonments (Control of Rent and Eviction) Ordinance, 1952Ordinance · 1952

(1) The Central Government may, by notification in the OQlcal Gazette, make rules to give effect to the purposes of this Ordinance.

(2) In particular, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:—

(a) the manner in which any notice under this Ordinance may be served;

(b) the procedure to be followed by district magistrates in thedisposal of any proceedings under this Ordinance;

(c) the manner in wThich and the conditions subject to which oncers commanding the station may exercise their powers under this Ordinance.
