The Registrar or any person appointed, or authorized to conduct audit under section 64 or to hold inquiry under section 65 or to make inspection under section 66, or authorized under section 123 to conduct inspection, an arbitrator or a member of the board of arbitrators to whom any dispute is referred under section 71, or a member of the Tribunal or a liquidator, or any person authorized by the Registrar under section 93 to make attachment and sale [or any officer of the Co-operative Society] shall be deemed to be public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code.
