Section 3: Constitution of the Uttar Pradesh Commission for Minorities

The Uttar Pradesh Commission for Minorities Act, 1994State Act of Uttar Pradesh · Act 22 of 1994

(1) The Government shall constitute a body to be known as the Uttar Pradesh Commission for Minorities to exercise the powers conferred on, and to perform the functions assigned to it, under this Act.

[(2) The Commission shall consist of a Chairman six male members and two female Members from amongst minority.]

Provided that five Members including the Chairman shall be from amongst the minority communities.
