[12-D. Amalgamation of holdings. - Two or more tenure-holders may, at any time, before the publication of the revised annual register under sub-section (1) of Section 10, apply to the Consolidation Officer to amalgamate their holdings of like tenure on such terms as may be agreed upon between them. The Consolidation Officer may, if the proposed amalgamation is in the interest of consolidation, give effect to the same.]
